Sitting Bull, one of the most prominent Native American leaders in U.S. history, once said, “Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children.” The life he must have hoped for not only included future generations’ physical well-being, but also the well-being of the land on which they would live. Our slogan, “Honoring the Past, Promising the Future,” serves as our guide in our work to see what life we can make for future generations, by restoring and healing the land on which we (and they) live, the air we breathe, and the water we drink through sustainable practices, utilizing modern innovations and technology.
